Oh it’s my first day of my school life!

Filed under: About school life — admin @ 3:32 am

I was never more glad to see it was lunch time, and neither was Nick really, tired and hungry, eventually after meeting up with some more guys from aviation, including my friend Samuel and old friend from Primary Ben (this is another one) who arein that course, a few of us hobbled down to Subway for a quick sub.
I wasn’t hungry, because I ate my (yes) wrapped sandwhich, but I didn’t mind, I’d rather spend it on sweets or those donuts I saw in the foyer, hehe.

And also, when standing outside subway, I found Teran from Engineering, who I had met on the train during my previous trip to Swinburne (the one who helped me find my way last time). So it was nice catching up with him.

Well, after I won the shock of not being really that tall in the scheme of things anymore, I walked into the business orientation and just double checked whether I was in the right place.

So I asked the Italian business/language guy after I walked in, to figure out, I was in the wrong room, but told to stay anyway.
So yeah, I assume thats my story of how I got to hang around with the business and accounting kids, hahaha.

Eventually I walked up the stairs, in my new attire consisting of my white low neck shirt and blue checked shirt to find my good friend from the footscray hockey club, Nick Gill was laughing at me for how lost I looked.

Well to tell the truth, because I first got to Swinburne I had made a new friend on the train named Teran from the engineering department, who i also used to help me find my way around on open day. So i’m rather used to being lost (even though Swinburne is supposed to be the smallest uni in australia, haha).

But man, although the welcomes were necessary, for lots of it I was sitting uncomfortable without a seat, tossing up whether I should lie down and listen or sit up and get in the way of the people behind me from looking.

And I must say, that when some of the speeches appeared to have several factors in common with danoz direct ads, it was hard not to take anything in Laughing.

But I really didn’t get the joke about squash courts being squashed, or that half a condom was floating around the health centre, hahaha Laughing

Samuel, Nick and I later returned to Swinburne and spent some more time just walking around, talking and getting free ice-cream and chinese wok star! Laughing

After finally realising that if I wanted, I could return to the I.T group, I kinda figured that by doing so, I would miss out on a library tour and instead get more lecture-like speeches. So I decided to go on my “hour and a half” tour of the library (which took no longer than 20 minutes) then just chill with Nick, and two other business guys we met for the remainder of the time.
